This notice explains how The Margin Model Pty Ltd handles information collected through this website and enquiries about our services.

Information we collect

When you enquire, we collect the name, email address and business name you provide. You may also provide a website address, the support you need and a message. We collect any further information you choose to share when we respond. Please do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.

Our hosting and email providers also process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services, such as IP addresses, browser details, request times and delivery records.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, understand your business needs, discuss a possible engagement and keep relevant business correspondence. We also use limited technical records to protect the form against misuse and duplicate delivery. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Where information is handled

GoDaddy hosts this website and delivers form notifications. Enquiries arrive in our Google Workspace business mailbox. These providers process information on our behalf to operate, secure and deliver these services. We may also disclose information when required by law.

The website is hosted in GoDaddy’s North America region. Our providers may process and store information outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations where they operate. We do not claim that enquiries remain exclusively in Australia.

Storage and retention

The website does not keep a separate database of enquiry messages. Delivered enquiries and replies are held in our business mailbox. We keep correspondence while needed to respond, manage an engagement or meet legal obligations, and review and remove information when it is no longer needed. Service-provider logs and backups are subject to their retention arrangements.

To limit repeated submissions, the website stores short-lived counters and coded identifiers in its hosting database, without names, message content, raw email addresses or IP addresses. These records expire within 48 hours and are removed when the form is next processed. Form details are not saved in your browser’s local storage.

Analytics and cookies

We have not enabled advertising pixels, session recording or visitor analytics on this website. Our hosting provider may use essential cookies and technical logs to provide security and reliable delivery.

Access, correction and privacy concerns

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of information you have provided, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing theo@themarginmodel.com.au. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will review your concern and respond, explaining any information we need or any reason we cannot fulfil the request.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about privacy complaints.
